LocalMP4 converts MOV files to MP4 inside your browser without uploading the file to a server.

Supported files

The current version converts MOV files to MP4.

For desktop browsers, files under 500MB are recommended. For mobile browsers, files under 100MB are recommended.

Selected files are not uploaded to LocalMP4 servers.

Conversion runs through an FFmpeg-based engine inside your browser, and the output file is created locally for download.

Keep the browser tab open until conversion finishes.

If the file is large or the device runs out of memory, try a smaller file.

If a workplace, school network, or blocking extension prevents the conversion engine from loading, try another browser or network.
